The 2nd Chakra on this planet is located at Lake Titicaca. To be more specific it's centre is located on the Island of the Sun where the Titicaca Stone is found. The lake itself is located in the high plateau of Collao in the Southern highlands of Peru, in the border with Bolivia.
These territories were inhabited by cultures before the Incas, especially by the Tiahuanaco (100 - 700 AD), later, when this kingdom was destroyed, its people went to the North and then, its descendents founded the Inca kingdom. Finally, the Incas conquered these territories and considered the lake as a sacred place.
In the human body, Lake Titicaca correlates to the sexual chakra. The difference is that the world second chakra governs all species. The undifferentiated life force of Chakra One, Mt. Shasta, is transmitted to Lake Titicaca via the great world ley artery - The Plumed Serpent. This life-giving telluric current encircles the world, and has its evocational home at the El Tule tree in Mexico. Lake Titicaca is one of the two greatest ley crossroads on Earth. The Rainbow Serpent intersects the Plumed Serpent at the Island of the Sun. These two gigantic ley arteries also cross each other on the island of Bali, in Indonesia.
In 2000, an international archaeological expedition discovered an ancient temple submerged in the depths of Lake Titicaca. The huge structure is nearly twice the size of a soccer field (660 feet long), and was found by following a submerged road that begins near Copacabana. The temple is estimated to be between 1,000 and 1,500 years old. The Bolivian government has pledged to provide funds for further study of the ruins, and the eventual plan is to bring the temple to the surface. However, locals are fearful about the effects that such disrespect of the sacred lake might bring.
Legend of Lake Titcaca
The Apus or gods of the mountains had put people in a fertile valley, where they prospered under their protection. Life was good and people were happy, things would stay that way forever as long as they obeyed the Apus’ only prohibition: that they never escalate the mountain where a sacred fire burned perpetually. People obeyed, but the Devil was unhappy of seeing them do so, and persuaded them to compete among themselves to see who was courageous enough to defy the gods and escalate the forbidden mountain, and they all agreed to go fetch the sacred fire. Unfortunately, the Apus caught them midway, exterminated them, and sent pumas to eat those staying in the valley.
At the sight of the destruction of his creatures, Inti, the sun god, cried and cried for so long he inundated the valley. Only a couple survived this flood of tears in a reed boat. Once the flood passed over, they found themselves in the midst of a great lake, which had drowned the pumas sent by the Apus, turning them into stone statues. The couple then decided to call the lake Titicaca, which in their language means "lake of the stony pumas".
In Andean mythology Lake Titicaca is considered to be the origin of the Incas. In the Andean cosmological model it is one of the 3 centers of the Incaic world along with Cuzco and Vilcashuaman. Water has an important symbolism in Andean cosmology. The sea is associated with the creation of the world. Lakes are a manifestation of the sea, and are considered to be the origin of water and of people. It is said that Viracocha created the mythical couple Mallku Kapac and Mama Ocllo and they were sent in search for a place for the children of the Sun. The ancestors migrated to other places via subterranean canals, and settled in rivers, mountains, turning them into sacred centers. Thus, Lake Titicaca is considered to be the place where the Andean civilization emerged from the waters, and it is also believed to be the place where spirits of the dead return to their origin.
According to Incan lore, after a great flood, the god Viracocha arose from Lake Titicaca to create the world. He commanded the sun (Inti), moon (Mama Kilya) and stars to rise, then went to Tiahuanaco to create the first human beings, Mallku Kapac and Mama Ocllo. These first humans, the "Inca Adam and Eve," were formed from stone and brought to life by Viracocha, who commanded them to go out and populate the world. Thus Lake Titicaca is the birthplace of the Incas.
Lake Titicaca and Lemuria
While speaking of the ancient lore surrounding Lake Titicaca, Lemuria is also connected to this Earth Chakra. It is believed that a giant golden disc is in existence beneath the lake. This disc holds information and a vibrational quality where whenever it was struck by a high priest, this sun disc would set certain conditions that could bring about great earthquakes and even a change in the rotation of the Earth itself.
When the continent of Lemuria broke apart during the destruction of Atlantis, the Andean mountain range sprang up along the west coast of South America. At that time, there was an ancient city in what is now the country of Bolivia. During the ensuing cataclysms, this city was raised above the level of the sea, causing a lake to form at its base.
During these final days, a sage named Aramu Muru was entrusted with sacred information and scrolls. After the Fall of Man, he was delegated to build a monastery high in the Andes Mountains where our ancient wisdom and spiritual knowledge could be preserved. There, in a sacred valley near the lake, he constructed the monastery out of enormous blocks of stone that were cut with fine precision. When Atlantis and Lemuria finally sank into the oceans, the Incas built their spiritual society atop the ruins, in Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. So, over time, Aramu Muru gave the Incas the use of the Golden Sun Disc.
The Incas placed the Golden Sun Disc inside their Temple of the Sun, in the Peruvian city of Cusco. They used it to receive info directly from the Sun god, Tiki Viracocha, the Universal Mind. This enormous disc stood in the Temple of the Sun until Spanish conquistadors landed in Peru and destroyed the temple in the late 1500s. At that time, Aramu Muru moved it to Lake Titicaca where it remained hidden beneath the waters, in a subterranean temple at the monastery of the Brotherhood of the Seven Rays. The indigenous people of South America are now patiently awaiting the Pachacuti, the return to Unconditional Love – the Return of the Inner Sun. This solar disc is the DNA code for the entire planet. It is a perfect battery for both receiving and transmitting the higher dimensional energies required for Earth's ascension.
The Golden Sun Disc was activated early in the year 2010. On the triple date of 11-11-11 it will achieve full programming from the new Earth grid and each of the twelve discs will be sequentially recoded around the planet. Then, in 2012, the composite frequencies of these discs will come together as one.
Multi-Dimensional Doorway of Aramu Muru, near Lake Titicaca
There are some remains of these ancient times in the environs of the lake. The most important one is Sillustani, an Inca cemetery where the Inca people built huge towers (12 meters or 39 ft. height) as tombs. Another interesting spot is the temple in Chucuito town, there are several phallus-shaped stone sculptures, suggesting it was devoted to the cult of fertility.
It's at 3,830 meters or 12,560 ft. above sea level. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. Its surface area is 8,300 km square, with a length of 195 km and an average width of 50 km. It's also very deep with a maximum depth of 285 meters (940 ft.). The temperature of its water remains between 10°C (50°F) and 12°C (54°F), that's why it's possible to swim and also fish there.
